This page lists every cookie and similar technology used on banksforcrypto.com, what each one does, how long it is kept, and whether it needs your consent.
Nothing loads before you choose
Google Analytics 4 and the Impact affiliate-tracking tag are not loaded — and set no cookies — until you allow them in the cookie banner. They are two separate purposes: Analytics (Google Analytics) and Affiliate attribution (Impact). Accept all allows both, Reject all allows neither, and Settings lets you allow each one on its own; each tag loads only with its own purpose. If you reject, or close or ignore the banner, neither is loaded on any page.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use the button at the bottom of every page to reopen the banner at any time; it shows both purposes as you set them. Switching a purpose off there withdraws your consent for it: withdrawing Analytics stops Google Analytics and deletes the _ga and _ga_* cookies set on this site; withdrawing Affiliate attribution deletes the IR_* cookies and reloads the page without the Impact tag. If Google Analytics has already loaded on the page you are on, withdrawing Analytics also reloads that page, so nothing queued before you withdrew can be sent afterwards. The brwsr cookie lives on Impact’s own domain, so this site cannot delete it — remove it in your browser settings.
Your choice — whatever you allow or reject — is stored the same way and for the same period: in the marketing_consent key of your browser’s localStorage (one yes/no value per purpose), kept until you change it in Cookie settings or clear this site’s data.
